Walcha Road is a small town 19km west of Walcha in regional NSW.
Based on the Armidale Train line, Walcha Road served as the train stop for the Walcha Region, and consists of a small number of homes, along with a one man police station and historic Hotel.
The Walcha Road Hotel was built in 1826. It burnt down in November 2004. The rebuilding is still underway, with the publican's operating out of an old Railway car during this time.
