Wally Olins (born in London) is generally recognised as the world’s most experienced practitioner of Corporate identity and branding.

Wally headed Wolff Olins for many years and built its core expertise. Working with colleagues, he has created brands and identities for some of the world’s leading organisations; these include 3i, Akzo-Nobel, BT, Repsol, Q8, Tata, The Portuguese Tourist Board, Prudential, Renault and Volkswagen. He has worked in the public sector with the Metropolitan Police, the Government of Portugal, the Government of Poland and the UK’s National Housing Federation. He has worked with a number of countries on branding issues and has advised both McKinsey and Bain management consultants.
He is currently partner and co-founder of Saffron Brand Consultants a leading branding and identity consultancy with offices in London and Madrid.

Awarded a CBE in 1999. He was nominated for the Prince Philip Designers Prize in 1999. Received the Royal Society of Arts’ Bicentenary Medal for his contribution to design and marketing. In 2003, he received a D&AD (Britain’s industry group for the design field) President’s Award for his outstanding contribution to design.
He is a Visiting Fellow at the Saïd Business School at Oxford, Lancaster University and Copenhagen Business School, and holds seminars on branding and communication issues around the world.
