Walters State Community College

Walters State Community College is a state-supported community college operated by the Tennessee Board of Regents and located in Morristown, Tennessee, established in 1970 and named in honor of former United States Senator Herbert S. Walters. The main campus in Morristown is supplemented with branch campuses in Sevierville and Greeneville. The comprehensive community college serves ten predominantly-rural East Tennessee counties in the mountains and foothills of the Great Smokies and Clinch Mountains. The college has approximately 5,900 degree-seeking students.

The current President is Dr. Wade B. McCamey. Dr. McCamey took over after Dr. Jack E. Campbell retired, having served as president for over 30 years.
