Waltham St Lawrence

Waltham St Lawrence is a small village in Berkshire, England. According to David Nash Ford, the name is derived from "Wealt-Ham" which means "dilapidated homes."[1] The church is called St. Lawrence and thus gives the name.
Within the parish stood Billingbear House, in Billingbear Park, remembered as the home of the early 17th century diplomat, Sir Henry Neville.
