[edit] History
Walton Garden Buildings are a quality timber buildings company based in Sutton-On-Trent in Nottinghamshire, England.
It was established in 1878 (over 125 years ago) by Mr Edward Charles Walton and it originally produced beehives! Word of excellent craftsmanship spread and soon the company was producing many different buildings such as sheds, summerhouses and log cabins. Today the company produces nearly every garden building you could think of all to the same standard as it always has. The company is much larger in size distributing to many different places and businesses throughout the UK including Garden Buildings Direct, part of the Walton family business who still sell Walton's garden sheds. The Walton company remains dedicated to producing quality timber goods, still made in the UK, and thrive on the same reputation of attention to detail and strength as they did a 100 years ago.
[edit] Environmental Issues
Walton's also hold a strong commitment to the environment and implement a strict policy that aims to keep forests sustained and habitats intact, refusing to trade in any source of timber that is classified as endangered or an endangered creature habitat. They also operate a strict waste and pollution policy that keeps both of these to a bare minimum ensuring that anything you purchase that originated in the Walton’s factory is having the smallest possible effect on the environment.
