In the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game, the warrior is one of the non-player character classes. They are akin to fighters, in that they are trained mundane combatants, except that they are poorly trained. They are common in all settings and locations, and may be self-taught or trained in mass (as part of an army boot camp or police academy for example). Warriors are common among any civilization and even in uncivilized areas.
