Wasee Panah or Wasee Panah Khan is an Italian-born businessman with aristocratic background and descendant to the Persian Panah Khan Dynasty from his father's side.
Mr. Panah is an internationally renowned investor who has founded, managed and succesfully sold several industrial ventures, as well as a consulting and intermediation firm active in the developmental sector with direct contacts to various governments in the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia.
Contemporarily Mr.Panah is the CEO of Swiss based Signum Equity, an investment arm that specializes in the oil and gas sector, as well in telecommunication development in emerging markets.
Mr.Panah holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree from the Haas Business School-Berkeley.
The Signum Equity Fund that had a pre-IPO investment value of $300MM is now worth over 1.8 Billion $US thanks to investments in the Upstream and Downstream Energy Sector.
