Washington Township, Montgomery County, Ohio

Washington Township is one of the nine townships of Montgomery County, Ohio, United States. The city of Centerville is the incorporated section of the township, which runs north to the border of Kettering. The township contained approximately 30,000 households counted during the 2000 census. Its library system and neighboring Centerville school system (which serves students of Washington Township) are ranked highly on state and national scales.
The township is one of forty-three Washington Townships in Ohio.
