I have noticed you have removed the list of adjacent counties from the article Denver, Colorado, and more than once [1] [2]. I am not sure why you are removing this information. Hi! I noticed you removed the reference I put in for the center of population of Colorado. If you check the coordinates on Google Maps, you'll notice that they show up between Redtail Rd and Arnett Ranch Rd, both of which are in the town of Littleton. [edit] Exclaves versus Dismemberment
Arapahoe County is currently a county with two small exclaves. A consolidated City and County of Aurora would only create one more division of Arapahoe County, but that division would separate the county seat and the bulk of the county's population from the bulk of the county's territory. I haven't lived in Aurora or Arapahoe County in 24 years, but Aurora needs all the friends it can get if it hopes for greater autonomy.

The United States Census Bureau defines Census Designated Places prior to each decennial census. Census Designated Places do not expire when an area is incorporated. I will mark Castlewood and Southglenn as defunct Census Designated Places.
Please don't remove data unless you can cite an authoritative reference.

[edit] Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport
Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport lies entirely within Jefferson County, Colorado. Much of the privately owned property surrounding the airport lies in the City and County of Broomfield. Please see the CDOT map of the City and County of Broomfield].

When the Jefferson County Commissioners discovered that the City of Broomfield wanted to become a consolidated City and County, they blocked the annexation of the Jeffco Airport by the City. That's one of the disadvantages of being a City and County.
