- I'm not very sure if it's a good idea to put photos of the personalities. It may violate copyrights, or obstruct the personalities' privacy.--grejlen - talk 00:06, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 1967: Winnipeg cable connection
Was there a relationship between WDAZ going on the air in 1967 and the introduction of cable to Winnipeg in 1967? Did WDAZ essentially rely on Winnipeg advertisers in earlier years? --PsychoJason 09:12, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- The signal from Fordville only reaches so far into Manitoba. CITI, Was--Spiddy 00:08, 2 March 2007 (UTC) the most powerful FM station in the world, can't even be heard in Grand Forks. My bet is that WDAZ wasn't available in Winnipeg until the advent of cable -- a cable between them and Winnipeg. And just like Prairie Public, Winnipeg advertisers are visible but still minority supporters. --AlexWCovington (talk) 10:10, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] "Emo" report
Should I add information on the "Emo" story, since it gave WDAZ national exposure via YouTube[1][2] and eBaumsWorld[3].
Is it appropriate to talk about their national exposure on the Internet on Wikipedia? 71.209.107.26 15:40, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'll add something about it.--milk the cows (Talk) 15:41, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
-
- Do you think mentioning the emo report is really warranted or necessary? --MatthewUND(talk) 20:30, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
-
- It was aired on CNN Headline News just an hour ago, and replayed on Seattle radio last night. The DJ called it the "Stupidest thing he'd ever heard". So, it's getting national attention.--milk the cows (Talk) 23:01, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

-
- It's even been on Headline News now? That's crazy! Was it just on the regular news updates or was it on a program (like Glen Beck)? --MatthewUND(talk) 05:46, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

- It showed the video clip during regular news during this afternoon. It was labeled as "the next threat to North Dakota".--milk the cows (Talk) 07:19, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
