[edit] History
WDFX's first broadcast was in 1991, owned by Woods Television under the callsign WDAU (The calls were originally used on Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's CBS affiliate, now WYOU, which incidentally is a sister station to WDFX's rival WDHN). The current callsign was adopted in 1995. The station was sold to Waitt Media in 1999 and to Raycom in 2003.
[edit] Programming
WDFX airs no newscasts. Outside of the Fox network schedule, the station's lineup consists mostly of off-network repeats, court shows and talk shows. Some local programming airs including a Country Music show on Saturday nights and other paid programs, mostly religious.
[edit] Management
Currently, WDFX shares the same management as WPGX in Panama City, Florida. Each station serves its own respective market, but share a common look that can also be seen on several other Raycom Fox affiliates.
