We've Got the Touch
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"We've Got the Touch" is a popular CBS campaign from the 1980s (much like "Let's All Be There" for NBC during the decade). Three versions of the campaign have been made with different singers:
1983: Richie Havens (one promo had him singing with Aaron Neville)
1984: unknown female singer
1985: Kenny Rogers
Like most other promos, there have been localized versions:
1983: WABI in Bangor, Maine, WDVM (now WUSA) in Washington, DC, KOLR in Springfield, Missouri, and WCAU in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
1984: WCAX in Burlington, Vermont, WAKA in Montgomery, Alabama, WDVM in Washington, DC, and WCAU in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
1985: WCAU in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, WTOL in Toledo, Ohio, and WBOC in Salisbury, Maryland
It is unknown if international versions of the campaign were made, though.
