Webcamming
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Webcamming exploits the webcams, World Wide Web and Internet in order to broadcast images (and occasionally sound). Because of its inexpensive form, such broadcasting introduces the homecam phenomenon begun in 1996.
In addition to public broadcasting over the Web, now webcamming could refer to private videoconferencing or even surveillance. A new term webcast is introduced, along with another popular term podcast, phasing out the term of webcamming.
