From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The weightlifting competition at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta consisted of ten weight classes, all for men only. The range of each weight class was adjusted by 1-4 kg for these Games, marking the first redefinition of Olympic weightlifting weight classes since they were introduced in 1920.
