Wellington Shire is a Local Government Area in Victoria, Australia. It is located in the eastern part of the state. It includes the towns of Heyfield, Rosedale, Maffra, Sale, Stratford, Coongulla and Yarram. It has an area of 10,924 square kilometres. In 2001 it had a population of 42,400.
The Wellington Shire Council offices are located in Foster Street Sale
