- Luckyluke, I've changed the "Surrounding" box back to "North Shore Mountains" because it better reflects the mountain range behind West Vancouver. The West Van web site also refers to this range, and not just to Cypress Mountain. (BTW - there is a reference to Cypress on the NS Mountains page.) I like the addition of Squamish and Whistler - it helps to create a sense of the region. Ckatz 10:54, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

Just so everyone knows I've filed a request w/ the West Vancouver archives to see what I can find to improve the historical section a bit, I'm not sure how much deeper we want to go than just the timeline -- 06:38, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- Photos from before 1948 are public domain and can be downloaded from the library's website here and uploaded to Wikipedia (or preferably to Wikicommons). Chances are that the City of Vancouver Archives will have a lot more West Vancouver photos. Just be sure and include an appropriate copyright tag. Use {{PD-Canada}}, or for images from before 1923, this one is probably better because it covers the US as well: {{PD-old-50}}, or this one, which is more generic: {{PD-old}} Bobanny 01:27, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

West Vancouver also has the West Vancouver Memorial Library which has the highest circulation rate per capita in Canada.
I'm curious about this fact, I've never heard it before and I go the that library frequently. Is there an article that cites this fact? --Omnieiunium 00:53, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

The page has too much white space adn the list is too long - can it please be made more concise? Hu Gadarn 03:48, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
- Umm, I'm not sure how we could shorten the list, its all fairly important information about the history, as for the white space, do you have any ideas, if we add tables and put stuff side by side it would seem cluttered w/ unrelated stuff next to each other. [edit] buses
The line about the blue buses being the only municipal bus system in the GVRD even though it's operated by translink makes no sense to me. How are they both municipal (i.e., West Vancouver's own) and Translink (i.e., regional,not municipal)?Bobanny 00:04, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

The Vancouver article had the same problem with the big block of white at the beginning, and the only solution I found was to fill it in with text, in otherwards, expand the geography section. Bobanny 01:27, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
