Talk:Westfield UTC
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article very carefully avoids disclosing that UTC is a shopping mall.

[edit] UTC vs. University City
University Towne Center or UTC, as I know it (as a 4-year resident), is a Westfield shopping mall. The city in which it is located is University City, which contains University City High School, among other things. I think this article is misnamed and should be renamed to University City. --h3h
[edit] UTC vs. UTC vs. University City
University City is actually a part of the City of San Diego. It is not an real city, but I believe it is an official community of the City of San Diego. It is bound approximately by I-5, I-805, and CA-52, though the part of UCSD that extends east of I-5 is part of La Jolla. UTC (the shopping mall) is located in University City. The term UTC is also widely used by locals to refer to the northern area of University City, usually everything north of Rose Canyon, which runs east-west through the area (look for the railroad tracks on a map).
