[edit] About Me
I'm really not that interesting. I promise. I just wanted the links to my name to be blue, not red. Blue is a much better color. I like making links. It's easy.
I joined because I couldn't find a Wiki specifically for Legend of the Five Rings, and the information here on Wikipedia was pretty nonexistant, with the exception of the rules for the card game. So I pretty much decided to adopt the rest, since no one seemed to have made an effort to update it since August 2004, and that was just to move things around.
[edit] Current Projects
- The L5R Wiki I came to see that my L5R project here was a bit too overreaching for Wikipedia, so I've moved my attention to the brand-new L5R Wiki.
[edit] Old projects
- Legend of the Five Rings I added the Games and Ownership sections from scratch after moving the CCG information to the newly-created and more appropriate Legend of the Five Rings Collectible Card Game. The other sections were kept from the previous incarnation.
- Legend of the Five Rings Role-Playing Game Officially no longer a stub. As of 1 Feb 05, I had personally written pretty much everything except the lists of links.
- Phoenix Clan This probably is a little too fandom and not enough encyclopedia, but it's close enough that I'm not going to ask for it to be deleted.
[edit] Repairs
Random things removed from the Candidates for speedy deletion and Pages needing attention lists.
- Crane Clan - Removed from PNA on 31 Jan 05. Of course, it wasn't actually on the list, so I just I took the header out. It does need attention, yes, but as far as stubs go, it's pretty decent.
- Xavier - Added actual data on 1 Feb 05 and removed from CSD. The original author's brother is Xavier. Mine is Jon.
- Half pint - Of all the possible meanings, the original writer (who was obviously new to Wikipedia) made it a band advert.
[edit] Help Me!
These are articles I created as stubs, just so they wouldn't be empty links, or left as stubs because I don't know enough to expand them very far. If you're really looking for something to do and know more than I do, try your hand with these:
- Five Rings Publishing Group - The early producers and marketeers of L5R.
- Ecclesiology of the Emerging Church - The whole thing isn't a stub, but this section I added rather is. Mostly because the information I added is pretty much "This information doesn't exist."
[edit] What I've done
- The Church in the Wildwood I can't believe nothing about this song was in here. My first new article.
