West Elgin, Ontario

West Elgin is a municipality and census subdivision in Elgin County, Ontario, Canada.
According to the 2001 Statistics Canada Census:
- Population: 5,464
- % Change (1996-2001): - 2.0
- Dwellings: 2,221
- Area (km²): 322.52
- Density (persons per km²): 16.9
The current municipality was formed in 1998 by an amalgamation of the former Villages of Rodney and West Lorne with the Township of Aldborough.
