West Michigan Edge are an American soccer team, founded in 1995. The team is a member of the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, and play in the Great Lakes Division of the Central Conference against teams from Chicago Cleveland, Detroit, Fort Wayne, South Bend and Toronto.
The team played as Grand Rapids Explosion from 1995 to 1998, before changing their name to Western Michigan Explosion prior to the 1999 season, and adopting their current monicker in 2000.
They currently play their home games in the stadium at Forest Hills Central High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The team's colors are red and blue
