West Point Lake
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
West Point Lake is a manmade lake formed by the damming of the Chattahoochee River by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The lake extends for 35 miles along the Chattahoochee River on the Alabama-Georgia state line.
The West Point Dam controls seasonal flooding. Deer and geese are often seen in the surrounding area.
