Drew finds a date with a woman named Bonnie at the Warsaw Tavern. Bonnie agrees to come back to his house to see his Buzz Beer brewery. After she learns that Drew does not have a permit to use a brewery in his garage, she reveals that she is a zoning inspector and has to report him. At Winfred-Louder, after Drew tells Mimi his zoning problem, Mimi suggests a way that Drew can keep his brewery. Mimi claims that Drew, Kate, Oswald, and Lewis could have a party and sell maps to the location, then give away the beer for free. Bonnie comes to Winfred-Louder to apologize to Drew, and agrees to come to his party. Bonnie brings a policewoman friend to the party, who threatens to arrest Drew and his friends for soliciting to sell alcohol unless they shut down the party and return everyone's money. After doing so, Drew meets up with Bonnie and they sleep together. Bonnie tells him she feels bad about causing him so many problems with his brewery. She recommends that he get signatures on a petition and appear before the city council to request a change in the zoning laws for his neighborhood so he can continue to use his brewery. The city council has no interest in listening to Drew, especially after the gang only brings in a few valid signatures on the petition. Before the city can pass judgment, Bonnie shows up with Drew's neighbors who run businesses from their homes. Drew warns that they will show up for every city council meeting until they get their way. The city council decides to order that a two-year study be conducted on re-zoning and decide to leave the residents and their businesses alone. Drew gets to keep his brewery. At the conclusion of the episode, Oswald and Lewis dress up like aliens and enter a crazy neighbor's house who is expecting Elvis Presley and Bigfoot.
