[edit] Project banner
The {{WikiProject Islam}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:
{{WikiProject Islam |class= |importance= |portal= |attention= |needs-infobox= |acotf= |past-collaboration= |peer-review= |old-peer-review= |orphan= |small= |auto= <!-- Wikiproject city specific tags --> |Criticism-of-Islam= |Hadith= |Muslim-leaders-and-politicians= |Muslim-scholars= |Salaf= |Shi'a-Islam= |Sunni-Islam= |Prophets-of-Islam= }}
General parameters:
- class – a rating of the article's quality; see the assessment department for more details.
- importance – a rating of the article's importance; see the assessment department for more details.
- portal – if the article is used in the featured article queue of the Islam Portal, the subpage number of its entry.
- attention – "yes" if the article requires immediate attention; this should be used sparingly.
- needs-infobox: Answer yes if the article lacks an infobox, otherwise remove this line.
- acotf – "yes" if the article is currently a candidate for the project's Wikipedia:WikiProject Islam/Collaboration.
- past-collaboration – if the article was previously a Collaboration of the Fortnight, the dash-separated dates of the collaboration period; must be left blank otherwise.
- peer-review – "yes" if the article is currently listed on the project's peer review department.
- old-peer-review – "yes" if the article was previously listed on the project's peer review department.
- orphan – "yes" if the article is not currently supported by an Islam WikiProject.
- small – "yes" enables the template to generate a smaller, right-aligned message box.
- auto: This parameter is for the use of bots. It calls the {{stubclass}} template.
