[edit] Structure
For the latest on the structure of an article about an artist, see Wikipedia:Featured Music Project (and this).
Most articles about Gospel artists have poor structure. As of now, most of the pages have hardly any info about the artist's personal life. If it does, it is simply mixed along with all the other information.
The proposed structure guideline is the following:
Gospel artist is ... (preferably per WP:LEAD) ==Musical career== Some info about how he or she started, major relevant events, and general artist bio, related to the music (personal bio is included below). If there is enough information, sub-headings should be considered: ===Early years=== This is an OPTIONAL section. If there is not enough info to make a section, it should be included under ==Musical career==. ===Music=== The style of music, important albums, etc should be expressed here. This is also OPTIONAL with the same condition as above. ===Influences=== The effect the subject has had on the music industry (specifically Gospel or as a whole), other music styles, popular culture, or other noteworthy contributions. ==Personal life== Write info about the artists' personal life. For groups of more than one person, keep this section limited or nonexistent, keeping details on the respective group member's article. ==References== <references/> <!-- References and notes belong here. --> ==See also== *Article A *Band B *Music genre C ==External links== *Official site *Site to artist's record label. Gospel musicians <!-- Put more categories here. -->

[edit] Tasks
You can suggest trivial, less important tasks that anything that individuals can work on under Tasks in the talk page.
[edit] Adopt an article
Similar to the Collaboration of the week, but on a smaller scale, you might want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing the research, writing, and picture-taking (if possible) for either a non-existent article or a stub. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while, to try and build up the number of quality articles the Project has produced.
- Example article: We don't have an example article yet.
