At the moment, this project has just started, and needs members. Join if you are interested in Linux. The aim is to get as many users as possible. Advocate to fellow Linux contributors and get them on board. If you know someone who contributes here and uses Linux make sure they are aware of this project. Please help out by indexing all the Linux articles you know of on Wikipedia:WikiProject Linux/index.

To Do Index all the Wikipedia articles you know of about Linux on Wikipedia:WikiProject Linux/index. Focus on the GNOME article and work on making it FA status. Translate (or have translated) the German article on history of Linux the page for the translation is here. The article NASLite needs some work on it. Pie Box Enterprise Linux Needs expanding. Fedora Project Needs some work. Add/change/remove to do

WikiProject Linux

WikiProject Linux is an attempt at creating a community of Linux wikipedians to maintain and write for Linux articles on Wikipedia. The aim of this project is to make sure that all Linux articles are kept upto date, cited, clean, factually accurate and NPOV.

For now, we need to collaborate on getting the WikiProject organized and get a healthy set of articles/lists marked up with the Wikiproject template. In the future I plan to use this space to advertise a specific article that we want to get to good article status.
