The purpose of the WikiProject:Motorsport is to maintain its child Wikiprojects; organise and improve the common areas between different projects; and improve aspects of motorsport that are not covered by other projects. Key subjects that lack their own projects can be found in an overview at the Subjects page.

You are welcome to add your name to WikiProject: Motorsport's list of members. Please include some information about your specialist areas of knowledge to assist other members.

Please feel free to contribute to the project. Articles that need to be improved, expanded, cleaned up or created – but do not come under the remit of existing projects – are listed on the Project Task List. If you find such an article that is not currently included, please add its link to the appropriate section and place the project template on its talk page. • {{Template:Infobox motorsport championship}} can be used for most types of motor racing series. See F3 Euroseries or WTCC for examples of it in use.
• {{Template:Motorsport formula}} can be used for racing formulae, such as Formula Renault, Super 1600 or Group N.
