I have been researching hubbert peak, permaculture, and environmental accounting (including embodied energy, emergy and EROEI), for the past 7 years. I have two publications in the field, and would like to contribute to the project by systematizing the entries on Wiki related to this project. The vision I have in mind for this wiki project is not only a description and history of different energy related developments, but also a forum whereby up to date data on the energy efficiency, EROEI (and other evaluation methods) values, of different technologies and energy related services can be published. In this way we will hopefully achieve an integrated comparative encyclopeadic database. I hope to pioneer a link with formal academic journals for automatic updating of data with references to the literature. I have already contributed several articles that I believe are relevant to this project in the field of embodied energy and emergy, however they need to be cleaned up. I can also network with several academics in the field. I hope that I may be able to serve the project well.
Regards,
Sholto Maud.
[edit] Seconding Nominations
After one week all nominations will be ordered here to be seconded, if the number of nominations is greater that 6.
[edit] Voting
Every two months, startng on the 3rd, two weeks will be given to vote on the project leader for the next two months after. Given that this is the scedule where nominations will lie. The top vote getter for each session will become the project leader for that month. A one week run-off will occur in the even of a tie. If there is still a tie after two weeks, these individuals will be made co-project leaders. Current project leaders can serve a term of up to six months. Elections must have at least 15 votes between all candidates.
