Quote: "While Paiement was playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs he wore the number 99. He is the last player since Wayne Gretzky to wear that number. He last wore #99 on the 6th of March, 1982 against the Montreal Canadiens." Can't find any sources at the moment, but I'm pretty sure I read that Lonnie Loach wore 99 at some point in his NHL career (early 90s).
