Talk:William Seymour, 2nd Duke of Somerset
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I wonder if this is somebody who is so well known by a lesser title that the article should be placed there, despite his being given a higher title. For most of his life, the subject of this article was known as either "Earl of Hertford" or "Marquess of Hertford," and under that name he played a significant part in the political events of the day. He was restored to his great-grandfather's dukedom only about a month before his death. Obviously, that restoration was important, but is it important enough to call him by a name he bore for only a month or so? john k 20:40, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
