William Doughty

William Doughty was a United States naval architect who designed many of the sailing 74s.
He designed the President, Independence 74's, Peacock class, Erie class, Java and Guerrier, North Carolina 74's class, Brandywine 44's Class, brigs, revenue cutters, and Baltimore Clipper model.
