William Kushner

William Kushner is a clarinet player and conductor of the Lake Charles Symphony [1] in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was also conductor of the Rapides Symphony Orchestra [2] in Alexandria, Louisiana from 1968 to 2002, when he retired.
He is a widower of the late Sylvia Kushner, also a classically trained musician.
William Kushner is also the father of playwright Tony Kushner, author of Angels in America, who lives in New York City.
