William Scott

William Scott is the name of several different people, including:
- William Cavendish-Scott-Bentinck, 5th Duke of Portland, English eccentric;
- William Scott, Lord Stowell (1745-1836), English lawyer
- Sir William Scott (1803-1871), British Member of Parliament
- U.S. Representative William L. Scott of Virginia, once ranked "Dumbest Congressman" by New Times

- [William Scott (drummer)], an American drummer who started playing in 1970 and had a formative career through out the 1980's playing in numerous studios as a session player for Mary Wilson, John Kay, Eric Burdon, Robert Cray, Nike, Mazda, Pampers, Crest Toothpaste, and Proctor & Gamble. In 2001, he was the drummer on the team that developed the rhythms of the worldwide distributed E-MU PX7 Beat Machine.
- William Scott, an English lawyer, and Chief Justice of the King's Bench from 1341 to 1346.
- Blessed William Maurus Scott (c.1579 - 1692), English Catholic priest and martyr.
