[edit] Summary
This was the logo for WIS TV in Columbia, SC during the early 1990s. This was a major change from earlier identities where the number 10 was used. Since the station was now on cable, it saw a need to reach out by taking away the original channel number. The WIS News brand was quite strong as it was the dominant news leader in the Midlands of South Carolina.
