"Wishing Well" is sung by Sananda Maitreya (formerly known as Terence Trent D'Arby) for the album Introducing the Hardline According to Terence Trent D'Arby, and hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on May 7, 1988. The song remained at the #1 position for one week. "Wishing Well" was Terence Trent D'Arby's only #1 hit.
