The radio stations of Trevecca Nazarene University are Christian stations providing educational opportunities for leadership and service by programming ministry and information to the audiences.

WNAZ came on the air in 1967 with 10 watts and a block of educational programs, religious music and classical music. Power was increased to 500 watts in 1977 and to its current 1,400 watts in 1983. A new tower was built in the summer of 1998, increasing antenna height by 83 feet and increasing the coverage area by 16%.

To provide favorable public relations for the University through the stations. To be a ministry to the listening audience through the programming and ancillary activities of the stations. To have quality studios and transmit facilities with full redundancy for excellence in training and transmission. To maximize the signal to adequately reach Nashville and the surrounding counties by increasing power, adding translators, or building or buying additional stations.
