"Work It Out" is the first solo single by American R&B singer Beyoncé, taken from the soundtrack to the 2002 film Austin Powers in Goldmember – in which she plays Foxxy Cleopatra – and also from the international editions of her solo debut album Dangerously in Love. Released in 2002, the The Neptunes-produced single failed to chart on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, although it reached number seven on the UK Top 75 Singles in the summer of 2002. The music video for the song was directed by Matthew Rolston. The funk influnced song features Chad Hugo on the saxophone.
