Derek Housman (born July 21, 1983) is an American film director and screenwriter. He is best known for nothing.

Derek Housman was born and raised in Oakland, New Jersey. He attended college in San Jose, California at San Jose State University in 2001 as a Computer Science major, then a Business Major, and finally settling into the Film Program. He completed work on over 30 short projects while he was there. He graduated in May of 2005. He is currently living in New Jersey writing his next movie.
