[edit] Call letters changed
Today on CWSFL, I saw a small blurb of text next to the bug on the screen saying that it was WSFL. COuld anyone change that, as I'm afraid I'll get "omg faek" accusations. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.34.110.30 (talk • contribs).
- I tried moving it earlier today but got an error. Perhaps someone with more time on their hands can get this straightened out. -- M (speak/spoken) 23:13, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Verifying new edit
I removed this edit for now:
“ | WBZL just Like local My Network TV station WBFS will not change there call latters for The CW | ” |
Anyone have any information on this from verifiable sources? -- M (speak/spoken) 12:57, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Call letters
I just got off the phone with WTVJ. i asked whem if WBZL was changeing to WSFL. Thay Said No. WSFL is the Name Of WBZL Sub-Channel
- Why would WTVJ talk as though they owned or operated WBZL? Despite WTVJ providing news programming for WBZL, WTVJ and WBZL have different owners. WTVJ is an O&O station of NBC-Universal. WBZL is owned by Tribune. Anyway, according to the FCC, Tribune has already reserved WSFL for the South Florida market. (To see for yourself, go here [1], and select Call Sign Reservation and Authorization System (CSRS) and then click the Query button and then type in WSFL. You'll see that Channel 39 Inc of Hollywood Florida (the company name Tribune uses for WBZL) has reserved the calls for itself.) — SterlingNorth 03:18, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
