WTFPL
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The WTFPL (Do What The Fuck You Want To Public License) is an extremely liberal, uncommon open source/free software license. It allows for redistribution and modification of the software under any terms - the licensee is encouraged to "do what the fuck [they] want to".

[edit] Questions over validity
The validity of such a short, seemingly 'un-legal' license has caused controversy on several sites (redhat.com, for instance). According to Bradley Kuhn, first associate member of the Free Software Foundation, "... the FSF's folks had to laugh and agree that "DO WHAT THE FUCK YOU WANT" is a valid Free Software license..." [1] Though the FSF suggested an indemnity clause, they do recognise the WTFPL license as a valid license.
[edit] Uses of the WTFPL
The WTFPL is not an exceedingly popular format, but some software has been released. In addition, the license can be applied to artwork and written material as well. [2] Freshmeat, a freeware software repository, includes a specific category for WTFPL software and artwork, with six current entries. [3]
