WTKS is currently a talk radio station in Savannah, Georgia, featuring personalities such as Rush Limbaugh, Art Bell, Neil Boortz, and Dr. Laura Schlesinger.
WTKS was originally WTOC. WTOC broadcast for fifty years over the assigned frequency of 1290 AM. In 1979 WTOC AM signed off the air and became WWSA from 1979-1987, broadcasting adult contemporary music. In the 19 years from 1987-2006 the 1290 AM frequency has undergone numerous format as well as several call letter changes.
In the late 1990s, this station was WCHY, the Radio Disney affiliate in Savannah, Georgia.
