WTRI is an AM radio station broadcasting on 1520kHz from Brunswick, Maryland, United States. The station features a Contemporary Standards format and is better know as "Vegas Radio". The station features several long time DJ's from the Washington/Baltimore area among them are Buddy Rizer who hosts the morning show, Steve Ray who also hosts The Golden Days of Radio and Bob Duckman who does afternoon drive.
Though the station broadcasts from the Frederick, Maryland Arbitron market, its signal, at 17,000 watts, can also be received in other areas of Maryland as well as in portions of Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C. WTRI is licensed to transmit during daytime hours only though it maintains a continuous stream via its Web site.
WTRI is the flagship station for Frederick Keys baseball and an affiliate station of Washington Nationals baseball and Navy football.
