[edit] Other Information
The station calls itself, "Number One for New Country and the Legends." WXLF plays many "legendary" songs, ranging from 1960's to late 1980's Classic Country songs.
Spring 2006 ratings put WXLF in a ratings tie for second place in the Lebanon, NH radio DMA. Drawing a 5.5, the station was tied with sister station WHDQ and Rutland, VT station WZRT. The 5.5 rating resulted in a 1.9 jump in WXLF's ratings and the only station it trails, WXXK, is its main competitor.
Even though the station city of license is White River Junction, VT, the studios are located across the river in the more populated Lebanon, NH. The station's transmitter for WXLF is located on Crafts Hill in Lebanon, NH.
In November 2006, the station started a stream on its website.
WXLF is owned and operated by Nassau Broadcasting.
Even though never mentioned, WXLF is a Nassau sister station, as well as a Wolf sister station to WTHT in Portland, ME and WNHW in Concord, NH. These stations fall into line with a common Nassau Broadcasting naming system where "The" is followed by another word (ie, The Hawk, The Score, The Bone). WXLF never mentions on air the other stations bearing its name and logo. The exception is WTHT's MySpace, which includes WNHW in its Top 16
