Wylie Gustafson

Wylie Gustafson is a country and western singer/guitarist who for many years has toured the United States with his band, Wylie and the Wild West.
He was born in Conrad, Montana on June 7, 1961. His father, Rib Gustafson, also a traditional singer, has written two books about his life as a country veterinarian.
Gustafson's specialty is traditional cowboy ballads and songs, and he is particularly noted as a virtuoso yodeler. His bandmembers are: Ray Doyle, lead guitar and harmony; Josh Dryer, drummer; and Scott Wilburn, fiddle and guitar. Although not nationally famous, the band has toured internationally; also, millions of people have heard Gustafson's voice yodelling "Yahoo!" in several commercials for Yahoo, Inc.
Aside from his music career, Gustafson is a highly skilled working cowboy; he lives on a ranch in the diminutive town of Dusty, in the Palouse country of southeast Washington State, and he frequently competes in rodeos and cutting horse competitions.
