Yael Abecassis (also spelled Abekasis) יעל אבקסיס (b. July 19, 1967) is an Israeli actress and model.

Renowned for her beauty, Abecassis started her career as a model at 14.

She later branched into television and film, starring as Rivka in Kadosh, a 1999 retelling of The Dybbuk directed by Amos Gitai.
She recently began acting in French films.
During the '90s she starred as a kids TV host and produced a number of successful videos for babies and children. In the late '90s she left Israeli cable's Kid Channel to pursue a more serious career as a dramatic actress. She starred in several Amos Gitai movies, drawing good reviews abroad (especially French).
