Yan Liben

Yan Liben (c. 600 - 673) was a Chinese painter and government official of the early Tang Dynasty. Notable works include Thirteen Emperors and Northern Qi Scholars Collating Classic Texts.

Yan Liben was a famous Chinese painter. One of his famous paintings was "The Thirteen Emperors". He was paid by an emperor to paint emperors from the past to show future generations the emperors' achievements.
