The University of Culture (Yangon), () is newly established university offering bachelor degree in four unit titles. When Rangoon (now, Yangon), initated with development in cultural education, it formed formal advanced classes in 1993 at the Ministry of Culture Base, near Kokine quarter, Yangon. Since its building named Kanbawza was old and not having enough of facilities, it moved its campus to Yangon outskirt by the leading education committee of Gen Khin Nyunt. It hosts students from all based background, however, a pass certificate of High School exams is needed to qualify. It started to hold its first graduation four years after its establishment, in the new South Dagon campus.
