[edit] Request for comment -- notability?
Is this guy notable (in the sense of WP:N)? The external links all go to stuff authored by him, except for one link from some random web site named "What is enlightenment?" Bi 17:56, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- He certainly is notable. Bridge & Tunnel 03:31, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

- Do you have any sources outside of what I just listed which can prove this? Bi 04:33, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

- Comes up quite a bit in Google search for Yasuhiko Genku Kimura [1] with things about his books, people quoting him, lecturing, etc. Bridge & Tunnel 05:08, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

- 1,400 Google hits! "Idiotarian" has 779,000 hits, and look what happened to it. I think you need a better rationale. Bi 14:59, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

- Read again. It wasn't simply that it had Google hits but the content of those Google hits. Bridge & Tunnel 21:11, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

- As we all know, Google hits alone do not determine notability. Amazon lists his books and stocks at least some of them. The Book of Balance while not a number one seller, still shows some sales. Kimura was invited to write a part of the front matter of another book so I conclude, having considered the WP:N and the information above that he is notable enough to remain.JBEvans 22:11, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
