Yoji Akao

Yoji Akao, Ph.D. (1928-) is recognized as the developer of Hoshin Kanri, a strategic planning methodology. He also co-founded (with the late Dr. Shigeru Mizuno) the Quality Function Deployment Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to dissemination and advancement of QFD.
