Young Genius
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Young Genius is a songwriter and producer. His real name is Jeffery Grier Jr., but it is felt that he is aptly named, as he is only 15 years old, yet he is able to produce and arrange complete songs without external help. He began producing songs at the age of 13 and quickly caught the eye of one of Pop music's most famed divas. Mariah Carey became impressed with his young talent, and the two co-wrote and co-produced the track, "Joy Ride" on her 2005 album, The Emancipation of Mimi.
