Zachary J. Quinto (born June 2, 1977) is an American actor. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Central Catholic High School Class of 1995. He then attended Carnegie Mellon University, from which he graduated in 1999 [1].
He first appeared on television in the short-lived television series The Others. Later, he appeared on other hit television shows, such as CSI, Touched By An Angel, Charmed, Six Feet Under, Lizzie McGuire, and Dragnet [2]. In 2004, he landed a recurring role on 24, as Adam Kaufman. He appeared in every episode but one in the third season of 24, but currently, the whereabouts of his character are unknown. In 2006, he co-starred in Tori Spelling's VH1 sitcom, So NoTORIous. He has recently appeared on Heroes, as the superpowered serial killer, Gabriel "Sylar" Gray.
Quinto recently expressed interest in portraying a young Spock for the upcoming eleventh Star Trek film. [1]
